We were commisioned to hid a boiler, but allow easy access for servicing and have two shelves, one wrap around the other just straight in a property in Hay on Wye. The construction was oak veneer MDF with oak wall plates to carry and support.
Once the unit was constructed all visable edges were fitted with oak edge banding to hide the visable MDF core, sanded and fixed

To minimize the risks associated with MDF dust exposure, it is recommended to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a respirator, goggles, and gloves, when working with MDF. It is also important to work in a well-ventilated area and to avoid generating dust as much as possible by using dust collection systems or wet cutting methods.
